This place seats a few hundred people, yet only about 15-20 tables have a view of the stage. It is horribly laid out. They give you a menu of drinks, yet the server tells you that a majority of it is only available from the front bar, so if you want something other than basic beers or wells, it will take a few minutes longer than it already is. On top of it all, they ask for a credit card to hold open then tab (understandably). Then they make you sign a form that says you acknowledge the card will be charged if you walk out. At the end of the night when we asked for our checks (and we even said who was together and who was separate) our server instead just charged everyone to my card. Some of the people I was with I had just met and they didn't have cash to give me, so I ended up buying their dinners and drinks since our server was nowhere to be found after (kind of like before) and we didn't have time to wait around. I would never go back.

Quite disappointed on Saturday 12/6 as we were in town (NOT FOR THE GAME___SHOCKING I KNOW) and wanted to eat lunch @ Slippery Noodle but was informed at 1 p.m. that it would be $30.00 to park in your lot? Really? You couldn't have let us park & eat & leave? Quite disappointed...but carried on and parked for $2.00 in the parking garage later that night! You might want to think about this the next time there is an 'event' that not everyone is in town for that.

Awful service! Sat for 45 minutes without getting any help. The server was pregnant and INCREDIBLY rude. When speaking to the manager about the service, he said in his establishment the customer is not right. He said if we weren't getting quality service it would be best for us to leave. We had a party of 13 that took a limo just to visit the historic Slippery Noodle. I wish we had known they were infamous for having abhorrent service. Attention owner: new management and servers are desperately needed!

Was here back some time ago and the only thing that sticks in my mind is when you leave this joint you smell like an ash tray. Terrible exhaust system in this smelly dump. Nothing to write home about. Would never go back.

Really funky place. It's one of those locations that has obviously grown organically over the years so it's layout is just odd. Parts of it can be hard to move around in, others are wide open. But not matter what, it's always a fun place and often really good music. Drinks are good and prices are fair. I've only had a snack there so I can't really rate the food (yet).

Terrible experience... everyone was rude, overpriced drinks. And the drafts were "out of order". Don't waste your time here. Go somewhere else and enjoy yourself.

Great staff, but... one of Indy's worst foods ever. The only way you'd like this food is if you were completely drunk. The veggies aren't fresh. The wings are huge, but come from a frozen bag. The bison burger was weak. Even the fried mushrooms tasted fresh from the freezer. Nothing from this place is homemade or fresh. We stopped in because we figured it was a well established joint, but I think the blues are the only reason to step foot in this place. They shouldn't advertise "good food, booze, and blues"...put the food part last, because it's obviously not a priority. I'll never go back, nor will I ever recommend it.
