I started going to Mallorca in 1993 and have been there, perhaps 500 times and have never, ever, had anything other than a FANTASTIC dinner. Mallorca covers all the bases, a great selection of fine entrees, great ambience, extraordinarily trained wait staff. The experience begins with a warm, friendly greeting by Antonio at the front entrance. Although they prove a menu with wonderful dishes, hold off on deciding. The server will read a very long list of specials ever night. There are usually 4-5 fish & seafood specials as well as 4-5 meat dishes. The portions are always more than generous. And dinner ends with a complimentary shot of a sweet, satisfying shot of an almond liqueur. I have consistently recommended Mallorca to .... EVERYONE! In Pittsburgh (as in most of the country) there is no place better than Mallorca. That has been and remains my opinion for 22+ years now. BUEN PROVECHO!

Never again....we were so looking forward to a good meal. But we were so disappointed. Food was awful....bland flavorless paella, uncooked rice, fish in it tasted spoiled. Stuffed flounder soggy, unflavored. Not a spice anywhere. Vegetables swimming in butter, ants on the table. Grumpy waiter. We were totally ignored after we expressed our disappointment. Not going back.

Unfortunately a few years ago this was the best place in Pittsburgh, but things have change. Food is average and service is good. There are better options at this price point. Still hopeful!

Great restaurant and food. The service was great but the food was wonderful. The Paella was some of the best I had ever had. My wife and I have thought about going back to Pittsburgh just for this restaurant.

Mallorca, in Pittsburgh is the best restaurant serving authentic Spanish food. The owner is always available, overseeing his extremely knowledgeable wait staff. Our family always enjoys having dinner there because it is special. The Paella is one of our favorite dishes. Also, their fish and meat dishes are the best!! The vibe at Mallorca is lively and fun for all!

It has a sort of antique ambiance that you don't find everywhere, there is also a waiter who reads the menu in fine style he is extremely funny. On the menu the wild boar is full of total awesomeness the seafood also was excellent. I would recommend the Mallorca restaurant to anyone who is looking for that memorable experience.

Superb service and great food! While the prices are expensive, you get every penny of value in how great the restaurant is. This is a great place for a romantic date.

Best in the Southside. Lots of menu options plus an incredible amount of daily specials. The octopus is hands-down the best I've ever had. You can't go wrong with their sangria either. Service was consistently top-notch throughout the evening.
