Did you know tree roots can cause extensive damage to your sewer pipes? Roots like to grow into the pipes because they contain water, nutrients, and oxygen which are the essential elements for trees to grow.

To help prevent this problem plant trees 10 feet from sewer lines and choose small, slow-growing species with less aggressive root systems. #plumbing #houston #sugarland #sewer

Did you know home hot water systems should be set to no hotter than 125 degrees? At 140 degrees it takes five seconds for water to burn skin and at 160 degrees it takes only half of a second.

Make sure your water heater system is set to the right temperature! Not sure how to check it? Call us at 281-201-6300 and we'll be happy to do a water heater inspection for you. #Plumbing #WaterHeater

Have you ever had the water pressure in your house decrease and wonder why?

There are multiple factors that could cause low water pressure but the most common is a build-up of deposits or sediment on faucet aerators. The water entering your pipes carries dissolved minerals in it that eventually deposit themselves on metal surfaces. These mineral deposits often collect on inner surfaces of aerators and shower heads, clogging screens and slowing flow. These can usually just be removed and cleaned to fix the issue!

If you have been dealing with low water pressure at your home but aren't sure of the cause give us a call at 281-201-6300 to schedule one of our licensed technicians to come out to your home and get your water pressure back up and flowing! #Plumbing #SugarLand #FtBendCounty #Houston #WaterPressure
