Life has been rough for the last few days... weeks... months... all of 2016 actually has been really really difficult and has worn me down. So this is for all of you who struggle with just being happy and loving yourself. Sometimes, it's the hardest thing to do. It's okay to not be okay.

"If you are lonely, please know you can find comfort. If you are discouraged, please know you can find hope. If you are poor in spirit, please know you can be strengthened. If you feel you are broken, please know you can be mended." -Jeffery R Holland.

There is a balm in Gilead.

Me blathering on about life. Heavenly Father is great. He seriously loves us so much that He cared about my silly car, and He cares about my exams and my homework, and He really just cares about everything I care about. Same goes for you, friend. My brain is fried.

Sometimes, you totally think you're going to write about one thing, but then you haven't slept enough all week and it's Thursday and a 10-minute chat with your professor changes your mind and BOOM you have a blog post. It's nothing special, but it's a testament to me that coincidences just don't exist beyond rolling a D-20.
