This is the kind of place that you'll recommend to all your car-loving friends, as a favor to your friends... I have brought about 5 different cars to Santa Ana by now, and each time they come back to me looking better than before whatever mishap put them there, and with perfectly matched paint. All the nicest cars in Houston seem to wind up here when they need attention, a friend of mine who had his porsche fixed there recommended it to me, and as a "car guy" I have no problem recommending this place to anyone, without any reservations.

Great place for beginners, lots of soft snow, and great instructors. I took snowboard lessons for three days. Sean was my instructor on the first day and he took a lot of time making sure everyone in the group had the basics down. Then Meg was my instructor for the second two days and did an outstanding job also, she helped me with my turns and had gave me good things to practice when turning onto my toe edge (which I found most difficult), at the end of three days of lessons and a couple of days boarding on my own and with friends, I was ready for some of the easier blue runs.

Great service at Vision Optique. Angela M. is my doctor there and was super careful making sure she got the prescription EXACTLY right... Then she and Peter helped me pick frames... they were great at making sure the frames suited my face, and that the colors I chose worked well with my eye color, hair and complexion... Peter went out of his way to help me find the perfect frames and even ordered one frame just for me to try it on. He then adjusted each of the frames I bought perfectly... better service and quality than any other optician I've been to before. If you want the glasses to fit exactly right, Peter is the guy to talk to.

Worst service I have ever received from a rental car company. Reserved a car, called and confirmed that a car was available with a pass-through for skis/snowboards, but when I arrived they tried to tell me what they didn't have one, and that I would have to rent an SUV (for something like $2,000 per week). I told them I'd figure out how to put the skis in the backseat, just to give me the standard full size car that I had reserved, even if they didn't have a pass-through for skis, at which time they discovered that it did actually have a pass-through for skis, and acted as if they had done me a huge "Christmas favor" for delivering the car that I had reserved in the first place... Then they offered me insurance. Sure, I'll buy the insurance just so I don't have to deal with my own insurance company... no biggie. But then I learned that the cost of the insurance on a Chevy Malibu was going to be $360 for 7 days (more than the cost of renting the car)... I finally got them to take it off after listening to a asinine pushy sales pitch about how my Liberty Mutual full-coverage insurance from Texas wouldn't cover certain things and how it's unfair of me to expect insurance on a car to cost $10 bucks a day... that's funny. I have fully insured two cars, and an airplane for a combined cost of less than $10 bucks a day. Then they gave me the little sheet to mark the scratches and said in a very ominous tone that I better mark every scratch since I refused their insurance... Worst service, worst overall experience I have ever had with a rental car company, and the worst part of my entire vacation was dealing with these people.
