Come out to the U of I campus on December 5th and meet the Libertarian candidates for Governor of Illinois.

Kash Jackson is a retired twenty year Navy veteran and founder of the Restoring Freedom movement. You can learn more about him here:

Matthew C. Scaro is an entrepreneur that runs a small marketing company that he started in 2009. More can be found here:

http://mcs4il.com/

Jon Stewart is a former professional wrestler that owns and operates a family car dealership. Learn more here:

One of these three men will be nominated to the Libertarian ticket in March of 2018. Join us at Gregory Hall and find out what they're all about. Invite your family and friends as well. Tell them that they don't have to elect another corrupt embedded Illinois politician, that they have other choices...principled choices. Our candidates aren't manipulated by lobbyists or dirty money, which is why you won't see their ads plastered all over your t.v. screen. They are everyday working people just like you and they would like your vote to help make Illinois a better state to live, work and raise a family in.

Doors open at 6:30PM
Forum from 7-8:30PM
Candidate meet & greet from 8:30-9PM

We hope to see you there!

Our June meeting was quite productive. Thank you to all who attended. We welcomed a new committee member, added another person to our membership sub-committee and got the ball rolling on several upcoming events including, the Taste of Champaign, the Urbana Sweetcorn Festival, a potluck BBQ, a social event at Crane Alley and a Meet the Candidates Forum featuring 2018 candidates for Governor, Lt. Governor, Secretary of State, Comptroller, State House & State Senate, as well as other speakers. Details on all of these events will be finalized and events will be posted in the coming weeks and months.

We also set a fixed meeting schedule. Philo Tavern worked out well for everybody, so that is where you will find us on the second Tuesday of every month from 6:30PM-9:00PM.

Hosted by our vice chair, this will be a casual social event. Come hang out with fellow liberty-lovers; have a drink, a snack, and a conversation, maybe shoot a little pool. We hope to see you there!

2018 Libertarian candidate for Illinois Governor Matthew C. Scaro speaking at the Dekalb LP monthly meeting. If you're tired of the Rauner and Madigan show then give this guy a listen! Would you like to see him and other candidates make an appearance in Champaign/ Urbana in the near future?
