Wow, so my Logitech Harmony 900 died after 1 year and 2 months. I thought it might be the battery so I contacted support looking for an "official" battery replacement as the reviews on aftermarket ones were 50/50. They said they didn't offer one, but the CSR asked her supervisor if they could do a 1 time replacment anyways. They actually said yes! I can't believe it, and to make it even better, they are sending me a Logitech Harmony Ultimate instead (the newest top of the line model)!+Logitech
P.S. Thanks +Sara Hardway
for pushing me to let them know that having a $350 remote die after just over a year isn't all that acceptable even though it was out of warranty (Yes, I was nothing but nice to the CSR as I realize they have no obligation to replace it out of warranty).
P.S.S. I should also note that I did try a replacement battery and it was after that didn't work that Logitech decided to replace it. So I'm out $10 for the new battery, but I think that's a fair trade :)
