Good to see you take this up Paul, I have been following this game for a while, and own a Freelancer and a Super Hornet. Its worth noting that every ship mentioned in your video, that costs money today, can be purchased for in game money on game release and won't cost you anything other than the purchase of the game "squadron 42" the single player version of the game.
Now my current understanding is that although the single player game ties in nicely with the MMO aspect of the game i don't think you need to purchase the single player game to get access to the MMO version of the game. which since the popularity of the crowed fund has been pushed up the priority of the development list. If this is the case then actually at some point everyone can get access to all these ships for nothing more than time spent in the MMO version of the game eventually and should cost you nothing.
keep up the good work although i have kinda of moved away form minecraft i still like to see your views and reports on other games.
