Seems like Nottingham has become much more aware and interested in the caves...
You can sit in Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem and look into some of the caves. It lies at the base of the hill which was the site of the original castle. A fine place for a pint or two, one I recommend.

After a bit of a wait since putting together our cenotaph in Langford (Veterans Park) based on the one Walter Alward constructed in the 1930's in Vimy, I finally got to walk those stones and get up close and personal with the statues. The site and the experience was to say the least.... very emotional.
