Obviously a ban on plastic bags cuts the problem at its source and such waste will no doubt dip significantly. But what are the problems that cities face when they ban plastic bags? Will charging a fee for every bag be a better option?

Very unfortunate. I may be wrong about this but because Singapore incinerates its trash, the plastic bag pollution problem may not be a problem at all. The only environmental issue here may be the energy and the raw materials needed to produce the bags which are mostly used only once. Something to ponder about.

A Modern Incineration Plant like Singapore and Germany's to solve the plastic bag pollution problem. Sounds right to me!

Besides Reusable Bags, how else can we reduce the use of plastic bags?

Some useful tips here. But I'm looking for something big. Something that will replace all plastic bags in the future. I know I'm dreamy but I'm sure something is out there waiting to be discovered.

Will charging stations remain the only way to charge electric cars in the future.

This will be my last post for the series on Electric Cars. A lot have been said about the importance of infrastructure for electric vehicles to be successful. Availability of charging facilities is probably the number one concern for electric vehicle…

Some very useful information here on inductive charging. Good point about how batteries are getting cheaper and more efficient, yet such inductive charging capabilities will still be great for the electric car movement.

I believe this is going to benefit the country and its people. Less pollution and zero reliance on fossil fuel. But let's wait to see how the country will be building up its infrastructure to support the sudden surge in electric cars needing to get on the grid for power. This will be interesting. I wish China all the best!
