World Vasectomy Day just ended and what a remarkable day it was! Hundreds of urologists skilled in the No Scalpel technique banded together to encourage men to make a responsible decision and take charge of their family planning. In some areas, this minimally invasive 10 minute procedure is made even easier with the No Needle method where only sprays of Novocain are used instead of a needle and syringe. As a leading vasectomist in the western United States, I encourage couples to consider a vasectomy when your family is complete.  It's quick, pain free and safer than a tubal ligation.

Perhaps you have seen the headlines, Does Vitamin E Cause Prostate Cancer?
The answer is, surprisingly, that it may.  In 2002 The Selenium and Vitamin E Prevention Trial (The SELECT Study) was started.  It was designed to see whether supplementation with Vitamin or E could reduce prostate cancer occurrences.  The rationale was to test claims made over many years that both of those were beneficial and could prevent certain cancers.  Read more.
