I passed my yearly goal of 12,000 kilometers back in early November. With today's ride, I ended up at 13,507 kilometers. I guess that's not bad for 61 years old and only being serious about cycling since last November.

I reached my yearly goal of 12,000 kilometers today. I got 9th overall on one segment that I've been 1st in my age group for quite some time today too. Life is good.

I went out to target one particular segment... got a PR and #2 in my age group. If it wasn't so windy, perhaps I could have gotten 1st place. I'll try again later.

I got another PR without realizing I was beating my old one... and that was #1 in my age group. ;-) https://www.strava.com/activities/743233507/segments/18223754562

428.6 kilometers for this week. :-)
I was on my heavy mountain bike as the weather was crap. I actually love crappy weather for riding. It means very little weight loss on a long ride. I only lost 1.5 Kg today. It means slower times, but I'm in it for the workout, so whatevs.

I'll be 61 years old in 8 days. Year 61 is going to be faster and longer than year 60. B-)

I'll easily hit my goal of 12,000 kilometer this year. I'm not sure how much I should target next year... hmm. I do have a goal of doing a 200 kilometer day. If I pick the right rainy day, that should be fairly easy. It would be brutal on a sunny day here at latitude 8 in southern Thailand.
