om Sanders and a first time student flying over the famous beaches of the North Shore of Oahu in Hawaii in one of our Airborne 912XT trikes. We now also have the Airborne M3 which was recently released and we have another on order, expanding our fleet to three shortly to better serve our customers.

Congratulations Jeni Pfister! Paradise Air now has a new CFI. As far as we can tell Denise Sanders and Jeni are the only two active female WSC CFI's in the USA currently. Jeni will begin flying at Paradise Air when Denise's new Airborne M3 aircraft arrives. Denise is in the back seat in this photo and Jeni passed her CFI check ride on this flight.

I had the pleasure of doing two flights with Warren Graskie. He has been a very experienced and successful skydiving instructor for many years. He has just purchased a brand new Airborne Powered Hang-Glider. We have been friends for quite a while. He has decided to become a powered hang-gliding instructor based out of San Diego California. He will be doing his training with one of the best instructors in the World Paul Hamilton in the Lake Tahoe area. These are a few photos of Warren and I in my brand new Airborne. This aircraft is amazing to fly. Mine was the first of this new model to be delivered in the World. Warren's will be the third. The second is now on Maui with Armin Engert who has flown hang-gliders for nearly 40 years.

Paradise Air Hawaii inc. bought another NEW Airborne Trike. We took delivery last week of the first M3 Airborne trike delivered in the world. It also includes the first XR-S wing. Major improvements in comfort, equipment and performance. Same reliability that has allowed us a perfect safety record of over 14,000 flights. Our trike is featured on the Airborne web site. www.airborne.com.au

Excellent review by Clayton C, via Trip Advisor

This isn’t a cheap thrill for Oahu but worth it and the photos you have the option to purchase afterwards ($60 photos OR video, $95 combined) are some of the most amazing pictures you could bring home from your vacation.
I was super impressed by Tom and completely trusted my safety in his hands, he is a true professional and not a fly-by-night operation. There is no better way to see the island than by trike, it’s safer, more fun and more visually stimulating than a helicopter ride. With that said, it’s a lightweight aircraft and if you have a tendency towards motion sickness, you might want to be prepared. It’s very susceptible to choppy air but Tom always seeks out the smoothest ride.
We took off for a 30 min ride which was long enough for me. We went really high and flew over land and water. Tom was teaching and informing me about the island the whole time and not only did he teach me about the trike but island secrets and sights that I should look into on land. Take off and landing are amazingly smooth and effortless.

Excellent review by Collies12, via Trip Advisor

I wanted to do something memorable for my 30th birthday and so I took my first lesson in Weight Shift Control flying – at 35 weeks pregnant! After careful research and speaking with the owner Denise, I was confident that not only would it be a safe but relaxing experience. The take off and landing were much smoother than an airplane. There was hardly any turbulence or resistance! It felt almost like an elevator as we lifted into the sky. Once we were in the air, I’ll admit it took some coaxing for me to release my initial death grip on the steering bars, but once I did, it was truly a serene & soothing flight – gliding above emerald mountains, turquoise seas, pineapple fields and even through a double rainbow (which I learned are actually circular – we only see half from the ground). If I ever choose to get my glider license, I’m now part of the way there… and, if not, I still have a super cool story to share with baby-to-be someday ;) Thanks so much for this incredible experience!
