Please stop supporting this kind of establishments,, what a shame!!! such poor conditions, filthy, tiny tanks. animals are not happy here! stop coming here or other places as sea world. this place exist because people continue to support, please think twice before spending money and supporting this dump.

Worst place ever, loltia is said to be the most neglected killer whale in the eniter USA! She was kidnapped from her family in the Puget sound on August 8th 1970. Then put her in a tiny tank that is under the government standards?!? She had a tank mat named hugo but he passed away in 1980 leaving her all alone. She has lived over 40 years a slave and its time to bring her back home and reunite her with her family 😢 you don't care about lotia! You just care about the fact that she brings you lots of money.

A shell of it's former self, no pun intended 🐢. Aside from the animal rights issues that seem to be a hot topic and issue with this facility, the Seaquarium is just not as great as when most of us visited when we were younger, and its easy to see that not much has changed in terms of the facilities either. On top of a pretty hefty price tag is minimal shade, a few shows (some which may be canceled sometimes), and very dated attractions. The animals they have are cool, but it is difficult to see them in murky water. The entire park is not conducive to the weather, and you'll find yourself wishing for a cool breeze off the key. I also did the shallow water interaction experience, and that itself was a cool experience. However, in order to compete in this city, they're going to need much more. Wouldn't particularly suggest the visit unless it was heavily discounted or free.

Over priced. You have to buy fish to feed the see lions and this is considered a show! This place is old and looks like it hasn't been up kept in 20 years. Kids were board within 20 min. Killer whale show is good but doesnt save the lame visit. We're here on a Monday.....bbq food closed, jungle gym closed. Cafeteria has a line out the door. Cuban sandwiches take 15 minutes to make! So much for food.

please don't buy a ticket to visit this whales prison! She was taking from her mother at 6 years old and has been worked as a slave for the last 43 years!!!! The size of her cage/prison is illegal and despite the animal welfare company recognising this nothing is being done! The depth of the water isn't even the length of Lolita! She can rest her tail on the bottom and her head will sick right out of the water, she lives in her performing tanks so the small tank you see isn't just a tank she is transported to for people's entertainment she lives in this small bath tub every single day! Please please please do not visit or buy tickets, if everyone has a spare 7 minutes visit YouTube and watch a day in the life of Lolita it truly is heart breaking she is the loneliest whale in the world! The park is run down and the owner has made more then enough money off this poor creature! She will be worked until on morning they wake up and she is dead in that bath tub if people continue to buy these tickets as ridiculous prices! Please guys don't visit! If you really want to see whales in their natural habitat take a boat trip which will cost effectively less and you will see the real EDUCATIONAL experience !!!!

Oh my god this is so sad. I was literally in tears watching it. I was just planning on taking my nephew here and googled the reviews and one said youtube Miami Seaquarium Lolita, I did so and I am glad I did. I was going to buy a total of 8 tickets but I would much rather find another place. It's not like there were average people speaking, there were researchers and biologists telling of how this poor animal is in a tank that is equivalent to us being in a tub and has been stuck there over 45 years (since 1970) and her capture was a massacre to her family while people watched in horror. One of the old workers who was a trainer here actually said he refused to work here and quit because the tank is so small the tail of the whale was resting on the bottom and her head was sticking all the way out of the water. I do hope the best and will help in any way I can. It's pathetic that Florida government officials will not do anything about it and saddens me that this beautiful majestic creature is just rotting away in a concrete death chamber. I am not from any organization just a regular person looking for some place fun to take my nephew. This is not it. The only way to end this is to just simply not buy a ticket they will soon see that if they don't free her they will have to close the doors.

Its time Miami Seaquarium let that poor orca rest and live our her days in the ocean, where she belongs!! The over 40 years in captivity in the hot florida sun and a tiny little pool is just disgusting and shows the absolute greed that runs thick throughout this company. DISGUSTING!!

I had an awesome time there. The shows were very entertaining. I would ignore all of the other reviews because PETA supporters are just trying to trash the place. My family and I had a wonderful time. Now we are heading out for a nice big juicy dolphin sandwich.
