The exhibits are pretty cool and the shows are really entertaining. The vending machines feels a bit overpriced though ($3.00 for a water bottle!) The animal interactions are really fun! However, I just wish they didn't change the killer whale show. I liked the old one better. But overall, it's a fun place to go during the weekend with your family. I have been to Miami Seaquarium a lot of times, and in my opinion, it never gets old.

Please stop supporting this kind of establishments,, what a shame!!! such poor conditions, filthy, tiny tanks. animals are not happy here! stop coming here or other places as sea world. this place exist because people continue to support, please think twice before spending money and supporting this dump.

Oh my god this is so sad. I was literally in tears watching it. I was just planning on taking my nephew here and googled the reviews and one said youtube Miami Seaquarium Lolita, I did so and I am glad I did. I was going to buy a total of 8 tickets but I would much rather find another place. It's not like there were average people speaking, there were researchers and biologists telling of how this poor animal is in a tank that is equivalent to us being in a tub and has been stuck there over 45 years (since 1970) and her capture was a massacre to her family while people watched in horror. One of the old workers who was a trainer here actually said he refused to work here and quit because the tank is so small the tail of the whale was resting on the bottom and her head was sticking all the way out of the water. I do hope the best and will help in any way I can. It's pathetic that Florida government officials will not do anything about it and saddens me that this beautiful majestic creature is just rotting away in a concrete death chamber. I am not from any organization just a regular person looking for some place fun to take my nephew. This is not it. The only way to end this is to just simply not buy a ticket they will soon see that if they don't free her they will have to close the doors.

Worst place ever, loltia is said to be the most neglected killer whale in the eniter USA! She was kidnapped from her family in the Puget sound on August 8th 1970. Then put her in a tiny tank that is under the government standards?!? She had a tank mat named hugo but he passed away in 1980 leaving her all alone. She has lived over 40 years a slave and its time to bring her back home and reunite her with her family 😢 you don't care about lotia! You just care about the fact that she brings you lots of money.

Great performance. It's nice to see intelligent beings train humans how to perform. Now, if I could find someone to love me, take care of me and protect me from Mother Nature's cruel balance of nature, life would be perfect. For all the nature lovers, go check out wild Orcas separating a whale calf from it's mother.

We went to the Seaquarium today (drove 2.5 hrs) and it was horrible. There is nothing to see and the cost is crazy! We go to Aquariums all the time, and I will say this is the absolute worst we have ever been to. We will continue going to the Tampa Aquarium. Our 9 yr old son, was so bored and disappointed that he wanted to leave. For the lack of things to see and do, they really need to consider lowering the price to get in~~to like maybe $10.00.. Please reconsider if you are planning a trip there for the kids. SAVE your money and take them somewhere else.

please don't buy a ticket to visit this whales prison! She was taking from her mother at 6 years old and has been worked as a slave for the last 43 years!!!! The size of her cage/prison is illegal and despite the animal welfare company recognising this nothing is being done! The depth of the water isn't even the length of Lolita! She can rest her tail on the bottom and her head will sick right out of the water, she lives in her performing tanks so the small tank you see isn't just a tank she is transported to for people's entertainment she lives in this small bath tub every single day! Please please please do not visit or buy tickets, if everyone has a spare 7 minutes visit YouTube and watch a day in the life of Lolita it truly is heart breaking she is the loneliest whale in the world! The park is run down and the owner has made more then enough money off this poor creature! She will be worked until on morning they wake up and she is dead in that bath tub if people continue to buy these tickets as ridiculous prices! Please guys don't visit! If you really want to see whales in their natural habitat take a boat trip which will cost effectively less and you will see the real EDUCATIONAL experience !!!!

-1 star. I have lived in Miami my whole life and had never been, when I finally took my son, I was so very disapointed on the facility and the displays so gloomy and sad looking, just not worth the high price. To be honest, rather take the drive to Georgia to their AMAZING aquarium. Miami should take example on how an aquarium should be from them. Never again will I go there.
