Did you know?

Before they became involved with Farm Africa, 95% of the Muuwo Self Help Group in Kenya's Kitui district depended on food aid for part of the year.

But thanks to tools and training they received from our local staff, not a single member of the group received food aid last year.

More than 60% of employed women in sub-Saharan Africa work in agriculture.

This is why it's so important that our projects address the unique needs of women farmers. By working with them to overcome the challenges they face, we're helping them find a way to permanently transform their families' lives.

Working with rural African farmers to feed Africa's people
Introduction
Farm Africa believes that Africa has the power to feed itself and that its smallholders hold the key to lasting rural prosperity. We work directly with farmers to help them unleash their potential to feed Africa’s people.

We pioneer techniques that boost harvests, reduce poverty, sustain natural resources and help end Africa’s need for aid.
