This video shows me exactly why I never got into Board Games with Scott, but why I love the contributions that he has made to the hobby. I find the whole mechanism not mechanic thing to be grating and pedantic, but I find his honesty when talking about the quality of games and the amount of work that a reviewer has to do to be refreshing. You share his honesty but you are much more laid back. I am so glad that he worked so hard and that it inspired you to work so hard so that I don't have to. Thanks to you both!

This deck design breakdown is AWESOME and I love that you even theorized how the deck would change once H&P ships. I would watch a series of videos like this non-stop.

Here's the same publisher and designer back with their next game: Airborne in your Pocket.

So, one of my major hobbies is boardgaming, and I spend a lot of time on the Boardgame Geek. I've recently become a huge fan of the Print and Play games found there and I've downloaded probably a hundred of them. I'm not a very crafty person, and I don't have a lot of time, so I've not done much with them up to this point, though I really want to.

Recently, I found an answer to my difficulties. Andrew at Print and Play Productions does AMAZING work. He created a copy of Todd Sanders' Aether Captains for me and it is AWESOME!. (Todd is a very prolific print and play designer from Pittsburgh and the Aether Captains line is a series of games with totally different mechanics set in the same universe)
Prototype Creation - What I Do I make prototype games. If you have your game ready to print in a pdf or image file, I can print it out for you. I can make cards, boards, tiles, counters, hexes, and su...

In other news, would anyone else be interested in a "Gamecrafting" Hangout or Meetup wherein we meet, craft a game together, and then play it? Or we all craft some games between sessions and then play them together? Just a random thought I had.

I have to disagree. I feel that it is VERY strategic with up to 4 players.

If everyone gangs up on one player to mess them up, they will quickly find themselves being left in the dust by their co-conspirators. Also, the petrify ability is very useful for keeping yourself from being a good target. I will say that the Chronos faction and the Freeze cards are extremely under-powered compared to the rest of the factions, so we remove them from the game, but other than that, this one sees a lot of play on our game nights.

I have no idea how you can dislike the artwork in Ascension. I love how different it is from all of the other games out there which all look the same. Also, not liking the artwork in Sentinels means that I want to hear more about art that you hate so that I can go check it all out because it is probably fantastic.

Blackguard + Snitch could also be much more annoying than Blackguard + Infiltration + Satellite Uplink. That being said, all of it fits in the same deck with no issues.

I absolutely love Technoir and I have fallen in love with Android for most of the same reasons. In fact, I would love to create a New Angeles Transmission for Technoir so I could do both at once.

Ditto for you. It isn't played much (or at all) at CABS that I know of.
