Firey Samsung phones and washing machines have become a punchline in many a conversation since Galaxy Note 7s first started going up in flames. But Samsung isn't alone — hoverboards have been experiencing similar issues, and CATSA has declared that any device using a lithium battery of 100 Watt-hour rating or higher may not be allowed by airlines in checked or carry-on baggage. That can include batteries for laptops, audiovisual equipment, mobility scooters and more.
