I took my preschool aged son there for his first "real" haircut. The lady who did it did a great job and he was super excited that there were a lot of middle and high school aged boys also there (deeming it cool) so I scored on that one. We'll be back.

The general area is very pretty. The hotel itself has seen better days. The entry reminds me of Suncadia or other "lodge" style resorts. The rooms though remind me of a Best Western. Sheets are threadbare and see through. The rooms that look over the "forest" are tiny. The two double rooms are two full sized beds (which is hard for two adults to sleep in together). The bathrooms are very small and the fixtures are dated. Grout in the tub is stained and appears to be discolored from mold (looked at a few friends rooms and baths were all about the same condition). No individual soaps or shampoos. Everything is in large pump containers. Walls are thin and you can hear everything in the hallways. The pool is indoors and the room can get very hot. You have to walk through the spa area to get there which is awesome with kids. Towels at the pool are very small.

We have a Westie and have been using them exclusively for almost 5 years now. Love them!
