Well, this meal was surprisingly expensive. The food and wine were quite nice, but I was a little shocked when I got the bill. Maybe we just lost track of what we were ordering. I guess all those small plates add up. Anyway, the point it this place may be a bit overpriced.

I have been here twice now (once for my wedding reception dinner and once for my birthday) and both times had the tasting menu with the wine pairing. Both times it did not disappoint and this may just be my favourite restaurant ever! If you only have the chance to eat at one place in Santa Rosa make sure it is Syrah!

The service and managements attitude were terrible.

Chef Josh Silvers’ Wine Country classics are consistent crowd-pleasers in this downtown Santa Rosa fixture. Can’t miss favorites include crab cakes, seared foie gras and Liberty Duck, in addition to a chef’s whim tasting menu. The open kitchen and cozy dining room make for a festive dinner atmosphere, but seats in the attached foyer are less desirable. The wine list is extensive, with special focus on local wines (including plenty of syrah).

Excellent, well presented food. Sit in the main restaurant if possible (back feels like a mall), service very attentive without being cloying.

I must say the food was really delicious. We don't mind paying for a special meal on a special occasion... BUT $8 for a bottle of San Pellegrino is a nasty way to steal money from your clients!!!
