We had a small reception after our wedding downtown on June 27th. Even though they do not take reservations normally, they were more than happy to accommodate our party. They even allowed me to drop off our wedding cake that morning before they were even open. The staff and servers were amazing and very friendly! Thanks so much Taco Boy for making our reception so wonderful! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. We will definitely be back!

Tacos are made with eclectic ingredients, but they are pricey for the size. The atmosphere and vibe is very fun and exciting. The guacamole appetizer was sad. I can buy the same thing called Wholly Guacamole at the grocery store. Please start making it fresh in house.

Cool atmosphere with nice indoor and outdoor seating areas. Go for drinks and maybe a snack, but for the love of humanity don't waste your money on the tacos. They've got at least 10 different "gourmet" tacos on the menu, all $4. But when they arrive it's quite disappointing. The small tortilla shells are more filling than the contents. I got the Tempura Shrimp taco and it had two fried shrimp and a tiny amount of slaw filling. My g/f got the Pastor taco and it had some tiny shreds of pork and about one spoonful of filling. To get a decent dinner out of the tacos it would require at least 6 to get full. That's ridiculous. The quesadillas are pretty good, however!

The drinks were weak and pricey. As a server i know sometimes people have crappy days, but all the servers there looked completely miserable to be there. My server was very rude, which in turn made me leave without even ordering any food so i can't comment on that, but the service was sub par. Won't be going back.

Taco Boy's Grilled Fish Tacos are what I miss most about living in Charleston--and there are a lot of things I miss. Absolutely phenomenal fish, great seasoning, and delicious sauce. I never tried any entree other than the fish tacos, I don't think, but there's really no reason to branch out when they're that delicious. I've tried fish tacos all over the place, and I always think back to Taco Boy when I eat anywhere else.

The family and I have always been big fans of Taco Boy. We have shared many a good time there. Always love to sit outside when the weather is nice. Kids love to run around and play. Always lots of families with their kids. I have to admit myself and my family looked kinda ruff tonight. We have been sick all week. But I have never felt so talked down in all my 41 years. The manager asked me to not have my kids run around cause of liability reasons. I get this, but all the kids are playing. I feel he singled me and my kids out because of our appearance. He did not speak to the parents of all the other kids. Some of who where running out front in the street.
