There were so many highlights in #Vietnam and glad I captured this one on video.
During my trip to Ho Chi Minh City #Vietnam last week I met motorbike driver Mr. Tung who shared with me his four favorite songs by American artists. I'm not surprised with #1, are you? Enjoy! #travel

Have to say, I didn't expect to do this during last month's trip to #Vietnam.

Friends joke I’m an ambassador on a mission to create pockets of peace around the globe and maybe there is some truth in that. A pocket of peace is the act of learning about people on a one-on-one basis and becoming friends with them in order to understand how they see the world. By doing so, there’s less conflict because when you think about it, you’re willing to help a friend rather than a stranger. A trip like this reminds me how the power of travel connects people with different backgrounds and reveals how similar we really are. In a way, we are same same but different. #travel #Vietnam

#Vietnam was amazing! While I work on collecting my thoughts from the trip, here's a post with links to videos and images from Ho Chi Minh City. #SoloTravel

“Mmm, it kinda tastes like bacon,” I said to my sister as we sampled three beers in Bamberg, Germany, “and I bet it would be delicious with bloody mary mix.”

Others around the table had their noses scrunched up and lips puckered, non-verbally saying they had just tasted the most disgusting beverage possible.

Loei Province is a refreshingly cool choice to visit in Thailand, as it touts being the coldest point in Thailand. Remember, this is all relative. During my March visit, low temperatures were brisk while hovering in the upper 60s. I’m from Florida and anything cooler than 70 is refreshing while my hosts felt it was too chilly...
