the appy calamari was excellent! great portion and cooked to perfection! too bad this was the only good thing about the rest of our dinner. firstly, we were given the wrong menu and then told that we cold not order from the lunch menu. my hubby had the tuna. seared too much on the outside and too cold and completely raw on the inside. the reduction on my pork tenderloin was like a salt lick and the portion was more appropriate for my 4 year old daughter. the wait was painfully long, for food and service. they must have had to fetch water down the street, because in an hour and a half i only got 2 glasses. for an $80 diner we were extremely disappointed and had to stop for sushi on the way home.

Nice, clean rooms. Lots of decent cable channels. Tasty room service. Free wifi and free parking. Foggy Dew (bar) is ok, food uninspiring. Near mall and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Will stay here every time I come to Vancouver/Coquitlam.

Really nice room on the top floor. Only issue was an annoying taxi switch in the morning and I was told another would be coming to pick me up by a hotel staff member, which didn't happen, so I had to call and get another.

Nice place good food down stairs. checkin was fast and friendly. Went for a walk across the street and found an escape game "Krakit" never heard of this it was only 45 min game so we tried it out. Great game great idea went back the next day to play another room. Close to sky-train and down town in 30 min. All in all a great weekend and experience.

only hotel in last 5 hotel stay, including Toronto and Kamloops, that has charged me for bottled water. its a little thing… but its a cheap thing. *edit.. the hotel took the cost of the bottled water off our bill, without us asking which was great. The restaurant downstairs had killer food and affordable (many in-hotel restaurants charge more than outside venues). The room was spotless and the parking was no hassle. I'd stay again.

I wasn't sure what to think of the hotel when I first got here. I was honestly expecting something more updated when I got here, but throughout my stay I noticed the things that bugged me at first really made no difference. The rooms are nice for the most part, the beds are pretty good, and I was sold when I found the jetted tub in my bathroom. Just a few minor updating would go a long way! I would definitely stay at this hotel again though. For the price, the few minor outdated things really made no difference.
