Hotel itself is ok. Food is average, if not somewhat experimental. I personally didn't enjoy my meal. At night I was largely unimpressed with the noise level coming from the pub below. It's seems the bar is very rowdy and there is more than enough loud obnoxious drunk people that can be heard as high up as the 9th floor, and likely higher. I have stayed here several times and can attest that it is not a one time occurrence. If you stay here, I would suggest not a Friday, or Saturday night. Overall it's not a bad place to stay. But I think I will stay elsewhere next time I need a hotel.

Conference room was nice. Lunch and snacks were great. Only concern was the hot water for tea was luke warm during the afternoon break.

Amazing front desk service! I attended as a guest overnight for an event. Food was amazing at the event as well as the appearance of the room.

When the weather is great and the sun shines, almost any hotel can be judged to be great.....but...when things go array that is truly when you can judge the quality of a hotel in the delivery of its customer care. I was at the Executive Plaza from the 25th of August to the 31st....and.....yes I was there when Mother Nature decided to literally 'blow havoc' on Coquitlam and surrounding municipalities. The power was gone for 12 hours. What I appreciated the most in the chaos that ensued was the presence of the Front Desk Office Manager, Mr. Ash El Refaei. He was ever present to answer any and all questions. He did not hide in his office nor let the front desk clerks handle the customers. He was efficient, informative and empathetic. His customer care was impeccable. He did his utmost to accommodate guests with the means that were available. I am in the service industry working for Canada's major airline and can truly give a thumbs up to Mr. El Refaei and all his staff. Cudos!!

the appy calamari was excellent! great portion and cooked to perfection! too bad this was the only good thing about the rest of our dinner. firstly, we were given the wrong menu and then told that we cold not order from the lunch menu. my hubby had the tuna. seared too much on the outside and too cold and completely raw on the inside. the reduction on my pork tenderloin was like a salt lick and the portion was more appropriate for my 4 year old daughter. the wait was painfully long, for food and service. they must have had to fetch water down the street, because in an hour and a half i only got 2 glasses. for an $80 diner we were extremely disappointed and had to stop for sushi on the way home.
