This is very real. If you haven't taken advantage of the security upgrades I offer for WordPress installations you may want to reconsider it.

I've done more security work in the last few weeks than I have had to do in the last year. I've also caught more people trying to break into websites in the last month than I have in the last year. Simply put, if you have a website you'd better make sure your website is secure. I am even ramping up the default security already in place on my servers because of all the people trying to get in.

This affects almost everyone with a website. Very important. If you haven't ordered your enhanced security package from us yet, you definitely should!

If you're using WordPress, know your security options. Critics slam WordPress pretty often about security issues, but those security issues are only present for users that think it's good enough just to have a password. Sadly, these days, that train of thought is usually what allows would-be hackers into your website.

While THC doesn't really have this problem directly, we don't have this problem because we use a custom process for WordPress installations that reduces the chances of successful brute force and injection to such a remote degree that our sites simply aren't worth the attempt because they would take to long.

If you're hosting your WordPress site through THC you can enjoy that same level of security as well. However, if you're running your own website, the following article outlines a fair number of items that you should definitely be aware of when administering your own WP installation.
