The First Choice team and guests enjoyed a wonderful evening on Wednesday 9th December at the Catering Insight Awards, held at the Hurlingham Club in London.

A fantastic evening which demonstrated the unity and comradery within the foodservice industry and also a big well done to all of the winners on the night as well.

We are extremely pleased with the outcome and client feedback from our first EnviroPue project, in partnership with HK Projects.

The catering staff, at CATs College in Cambridge, now see the Enviropure system as the backbone of their food waste operation and we hope this will be the case for many years to come.

First Choice Environmental Solutions has been shortlisted for a Catering Insight Award in the Sustainability category.

The sustainability category is one of five supplier-focused accolades up for grabs at this year’s awards. With the green agenda among the top priorities for many commercial kitchen projects, this award recognises catering equipment manufacturers and suppliers that are championing environmental product development and energy efficient products.

Following these announcements, senior executives from the industry will be invited to vote for their choice of winners in a closed electronic voting process. To ensure neutrality, suppliers will only be eligible to vote on the distributor categories and distributors will only be eligible to vote on supplier categories.

The winners of the awards will be unveiled at a gala dinner at the exclusive Hurlingham Club in central London on Wednesday 9 December. As well as celebrating the achievements of the catering equipment industry, the evening will provide a unique business networking opportunity.
