Quick correction of an earlier comment -- the rate is $200/month for 6 workouts a week. That's $8/hr for some highly skilled, individualized training (not personal training, but you get plenty of individual attention). I really enjoyed my time at Crossfit Epic. I'd still be there every week if I didn't have to move for work. I don't think I've ever worked out so hard and had so much fun in the process. It is a great community, both the coaches (Ethon, Dave, and Kaila) and the members are awesome people to work out/hang out with. I made a lot of progress in the 4 short months I was there--lost 14 lbs; went from struggling on pull ups with 2 blue bands to being able to do 4 dead hangs unassisted; set a new PR for bench press (240# up from 225 about 6 years after I stopped lifting on my own); dropped my 500m row from nearly 3 minutes down to 1:35; and feel overall much stronger and better conditioned. Still have a long way to go, of course, but I am pleased that all that hard work is paying off. I plan to continue crossfit in my next town and I hope they're like Crossfit Epic.
