This is by far the best place I have ever lived, and, I have moved well over 30 times in my life! It's right between Mears Park and the Farmers Market/new Saints Baseball Stadium, 1 block from the Green Line. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, maintenance is quick to respond and efficient, and they all LOVE the dogs (and cats) who live here as well! Where else can you live downtown with an indoor private attached parking ramp, fitness center, party room with huge attached patio, unlimited storage lockers, concierge services--EVEN AT NIGHT, in-unit washer and dryer, AND your heat and a/c are ALL INCLUDED IN YOUR RENT??? Your search for the best place to live has just ended. Pray there isn't a waiting list, and get over there as fast as you can!

This place probably is great for the people who have lived there forever. Because in that respect, they are kinda like a family. Just don't expect to ever be invited to that family if you are a young guy or girl. I got dirty looks and cold shoulders most of the time trying to meet my neighbors. Very "in" crowd like behavior. I found it childish. The front desk guys were very nice, but ultimately its NOT a place for a young person to live. AT ALL. Paper-thin walls, cantankerous old people, and the new management has sucked out anything left that may have decent. Sorry, for some people...its fine. But just not for anyone under 40. Seriously. Good luck!

I have lived at the Cosmpolitan for a year now and have loved it since the day I moved in. A previous poster had noted that the walls were "paper thin"; I disagree. A huge selling point for me was that there is 12 inches of concrete that separates each apartment - so important because I have a dog with a loud bark. My neighbor tells me that she can barely hear him when he does actually bark. Wherever you live, you will find "groups" of pre-established friends, that's how it goes. I have become friends with MANY of my neighbors. The staff is wonderful and attentive and at this point, there are very few things that would get me to move. :)

If you're looking for downtown apartments, this is a fantastic place! the staff is extremely friendly and always willing to help you out. in terms of price, for it's quality, it's pretty comparable to everything else downtown. i would definitely suggest it to anyone
