I also like the long press in 3.1 for contact details. However, its usefulness is a lot less when in Household view of the Directory list.

The Household view makes the directory a lot easier to navigate by shortening the ward/stake directory. However, most people don't have household contact phone numbers anymore since the husband has a cell phone and the wife has a cell phone, and so the household contact number gets removed when there isn't a landline.

I would like it a lot if the long press showed any adult members in the household's contact information, or even anyone who has a phone number on their personal contact info. I wouldn't mind scrolling in the mini window.

Also, scrolling in general needs some indicator that there is content you can't see that you can scroll too. Sometimes you can tell because words are cut off, and sometimes a user would have no idea that they can scroll left/right or even up/down. That's what scroll bars/ arrows are for in UIs. Not having one of those things seems like bad UI design.

Will there be a migration of the current photos to the new image server? Not having any photos is a little worrying... Also, I tried uploading a photo for my own profile and nothing seemed to happen.

I just updated to 3.0 and the app crashes whenever I try to open it on my Samsung Note 4.

I don't care if it will snow, but how much it will snow. Most sites don't tell you. This one does. Very nice.

Yahoo is changing its email complaint feedback loop. They are taking control of it rather than farming it out through Return Path. To me this means they either are low on money or think they can do it better or cheaper by managing their feedback loop in-house.

The funny thing is, for someone who is taking the step of being in charge of their email more, they sent their email in a way that caused my email client to suspect that their email is a scam.
Their email contains the bad practice of printing URLs but having the link actually go somewhere else (for tracking the click).

Somehow I'm not overly confident in their new in-house feedback loop. Way to go Yahoo.

This is a great reminder in troubled times.
It was my great privilege to address our remarkable religion teachers in the Church Educational System recently. In my message to them I said:
“If any of your students are unsettled, or if you are unsettled, reassure one and all that the victory in this final contest has already been declared. The victory is already in the record books—these books, the scriptures! We know for certain that if and when everything else in the latter days is down or dying; if governments, economies, industries, and institutions crumble; if societies and cultures become a quagmire of chaos and insecurity, nevertheless, through it all the gospel of Jesus Christ and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints that bears that gospel to the world will stand triumphant. It will stand undefiled in God’s hand until the very Son of God Himself comes to rule and reign as Lord of lords and King of kings. Nothing is more certain in this world.” http://bit.ly/1G2WSam

In the new Missionary Menu, I should show three currently serving missionaries from my ward, but I only see one.
When I go to the Missionaries section under Callings, the three that are in MLS show up. I'm guessing that the one you have in the new Missionary Section may be coming from the missionary department and possibly from the home ward or the ward from which the finances are set to come, and since our ward was created last year, those other two missionaries were later moved into our new ward. However, they are definitely serving from our ward, and the financials for at least one of them was already transferred to our ward, so I would think that at least that one should show up under the Mission Currently Serving section.
The other should show up also, but I'm not sure what would need to be done to make it work correctly, possibly pulling the data from MLS data instead of the Mission department data and merging the two would be the solution.
