Some poor, poor human seemed to have lost their teeth. We dogs found these laying at the Ruinas del Monasterio de San Francisco. In my opinion these teeth are sort of ugly. Dog teeth are so much prettier don't you think? Hey guys, look what I found! I had to call the gang over to look.

June brings us the start of the hurricane season which continues through the summer ending the end of August. Please make sure you are prepared just in case a hurricane decides to visit our island. The Flamboyant (Royal Poinciana or Flamboyan) Tree can be seen blooming throughout the country ...

I finally went across the street and visited the new Colonial Gate 4D Cinema located on Padre Billini and Calle Isabel la Católica. I watched the construction in progress wondering exactly what was being built on the corner. The front of The Colonial Gate 4D Cinema still under construction.

Inteliperra says "I wrote a new story on the Dominican Dog Blog with some funny pictures. Enjoy."
We took our usual early morning romp and ended up at the Plaza de la Poesia, in English, The Poets Plaza. We love it here. It is nice and quiet and we can check all the little nooks and crannies (reminds me of an Englsih Muffin that I tried once..lol) and enjoy ourselves.

Oh yes, we love our morning romps. This is a little video my momma took of Buenagente and me running around and enjoying a little wrestling match, called lucha libre in Spanish, this morning. Julio and Beza wanted to join in but when we big kids start they step back and watch.

Mom got all ready for our Sunday walk-about. She kept telling me we would go soon and I was waiting. She said we would go to the Malecon and walk and see what we could see. I was so ready when around 11AM she loaded up her pockets with the camera, my snacks and some other stuff.

Each waited their turn and went in a line. Teli, Beza, Buenagente then Zippy. They all acted very serine and reverent as each dog stopped in front of the image. Then they reverently turned and walked away, all in turn. I was just amazed. This really struck me.

I have been seeing these funny looking 3-wheeled electric bikes rolling silently around the Zone for over a year now. I always wanted to try one out. They looked like so much fun with all the humans with their yellow helmets whizzing by me as I watched silently hoping to have a go at one of ...

You would think after living here for over 13 years that I would speak perfect Spanish – WRONG. You might think that I could speak very good Spanish – WRONG. Are you asking if I speak just a little..or un chin..well, most of the time. I speak Spanish MACHUCAO! Machuca. All mashed or beaten up.

I live on Padre Billini esq Isabel la Catolica. I have been dealing with this since January 2015. I sent messages to Programa de Fomento al Turismo Ciudad Colonial, S.D. MITUR - BID "Our building had brown water for 1 week now. We cannot use the water. It smells like poo. The landloard says it is a problem in the street that the water is blocked. I spoke to some of the people in the street yesterday and they said they would have the plumber check."  They responded "there was not detected faults or causes attributable to our work.". My response (Jan. 16, 2015) "The water smells terrible. It is a tan color." They replied " ésta empresa  nos informa que el problema que presenta su edificio es de origen interno, no de la infraestructura de agua potable en las calles." It is nice to finally get notice that our water is not good. And this terrible work in the Colonial Zone continues.....
