Jerusalem is probably one of my favorite restaurants in Denver and has been for a long time. So why 3 stars? Well, as others have said in reviews, it seems to be going downhill. In the years we have been eating here, they had never once messed up our order (which is and has been the same exact order every time and very simple - the felafel sandwich with hummus inside). Not too difficult, right? Apparently not. The past two out of three times we have eaten there, even though they have charged us for hummus, we arrive home with a dry felafel sandwich with no hummus. I figured the first time it was a simple mistake, but this is the second time in two weeks. Come on. Smearing hummus onto a freaking pita is not difficult. If you can charge someone for it, you can at least make the effort to put it on the dang pita. You people work in the food industry; it's not heart surgery. Apparently it's too much to ask to expect my order to be correct when I leave the store. I get it, you're busy, whatever. That's no excuse. Next time I am wanting a felafel sandwich, I am going to try somewhere else. It really does sadden me to write this review because Jerusalem used to be amazing and on top of it, but this is enough for me to have lost all respect for them. There won't be a third time they mess my *very simple* order up.

Hungry after class? Get a wrap. Have the drunchies after bar close? Get a platter. Great food, good prices, and open late every day. What else do you want at 3am?

Has to be the best Mediterranean food around, yes the service can be a little slow but they are always busy and do it out of a small location. The beef shawarma is amazing and have been eating it for years, highly recommend

Amazing Mediterranean food! Desserts are da bomb! I could swim in their hummus, if that wasn't weird and difficult to execute. I usually order their food to go, because the dining in experience can feel a bit cramped. Some would say that it adds to the ambiance, but sometimes I'm just not in the mood to walk through the kitchen to get to my table. If you are a bathroom snob, this is not the place for you. Entrance is only accessible from outside the restaurant (due to its TINY size) and could be compared to a truck stop bathroom. You can't beat the value price because you get copious amounts of food for a reasonable price. Overall, anytime I'm in the Denver area, I make a point to swing by this place and satisfy my hunger for dang good food.

A fantastic restaurant. The manager came and introduced himself to us immediately after we sat down and gave us a little history on the restaurant and the food. The food was very quick and also delicious, try the meat platter to get a taste of all they have to offer, and the dolmas looked homemade and tasted wonderful. A must try in Denver a small quaint, local, delicious stop!

I have been going to this restaurant for over 20 years. The last three times I have been with my son we had the same waiter. He was rude and got our orders wrong. He told us we couldn't sit upstairs even though there were tables available. I complained finally, but our waiter just made excused and told us he was right. The other waiter working heard us and gave us an apology and free dessert. This was nice. But, I have to admit that in the last several weeks when I wanted food from there I have chosen a different place to eat because the service and quality is going downhill quickly at this restaurant.

Best fattoush recipe I've tasted. The chicken shwarma is excellent. And make sure to ask for the taziki sauce.
