I am no stranger to this place and that is why it pains me to write this. When customers are overlooked and left to feel as though they are invisible while watching others walk through the door and get served immediately, then it is time to retrain or rehire management. As a professional reputation marketer I have noticed some glaring inconsistencies in customer service and quality the past few times I have been to this location. Someone needs to put their finger back on the pulse of customer satisfaction or this place will be defined by bad reviews. Mellow Mushroom is on a slippery slope.

This is one of the places you'd want to go to hang out with your friends. You can eat food have drinks and chill with everyone you know.

I was so excited when I learned Mellow Mushroom was offering a gluten-free pizza. Considering I hadn't had any pizza in a very long time–since being diagnosed Celiac–it was quite tasty. The crust tasted a lot like a traditional Pizza Hut crust, but maybe a little crispier. I felt like the toppings weren't as plentiful as with their traditional pizzas–not sure if the chef is in a rush, or if they think I'm on a diet–and their value is a bit questionable for $40 for two ~14" pies.

Its a chain but I love their pizza. Good outdoor seating along the main strip of Winston Salem.

Amazing beer selection, wonderfully crafted pizzas and their salads are all to die for. Get a taste of culture in every slice.
