We had a great time and did get to see the highlights of the NYC sights. Our tour guide was Jim.... great sense of humor and very knowledgeable of NY and it's history. Patrick, the boat guide also made the trip very enjoyable. It was well worth the $120 for a day's trip. Don't buy the 9/11 museum tickets for the same day; there is not enough time to walk through it and make it back to the ferry before the end of the day. This tour does not let you get onto Ellis Island or Liberty Island but the boat does drive up pretty close to it and is worth the trip. Just be aware, once the tour is over, it drops you off back at the pier near Air/Space Museum and you are on your own to find transportation back to your hotel. Had a great time! Just don't laminate your tickets like I did..... It throws them out of harmony with the universe!

This is very usefull after the brooklyn bridge sightseeing bike tours, to go to other side of the city do another ride, for example, on central park... i was with another brasilian friends and we enjoy as well the ride to take pics and see the city from another point of view...

This is definitely a must when in NY and a great way to see the sights from the water. Being able to hop on/off is good as you'll probably see areas you might not put on your itinerary. We actually stayed on the full loop and got off later as our guide was hilarious, sorry but I can't remember his name but kind of reminded me of someone...Larry David! Anyway, definitely worth it.

This was an amazing tour. I was very dubious when my parents suggested it and I don't really have sea-legs, so I wasn't looking forward to it. Turns out - I loved it. The tour guide was hilarious and extremely knowledgeable. If I remember rightly, he had a sing-a-long with everyone joining in. Unfortunately we didn't get on to Liberty Island due to the clean-up after hurricane Katrina, but it couldn't be helped. I would most definitely recommend this tour.

Kept us waiting for 1 and a half hours only to tell us there was no more room on board. This was after 2 other taxis had come and gone. A pity the staff did not just tell us that we would be wasting this time while we could have been seeing some other NYC sights. Can't really comment on the tour itself.

It is definitely one of the only way to see the skyline and hop between different stops on the ny waterfront. The staff is very friendly and the view were breathtaking from the taxi. It is little expensive but worth trying though.

A great way to take a short ride on the the ferry to and from NYC and Brooklyn. Catch the wave for $4 each way to see great views of Williamsburg to 34 St or Dumbo. They also go to SouthStreet Seaport with a small stop to Fairway & Ikea in Red Hook. This little find will give you wind in your hair as you ride on the top deck checking out the bridges, The Freedom Tower, the old Domino Sugar Factory and more breathtaking views. I took a ride from Dumbo to 34 St just for the fun of it. Today I went from SouthSt Seaport to Ikea and totally loved how the ship stopped to let us click the camera at the Statue of Liberty. This is the best way to beat the traffic.
