What a fun and interesting version! It sounds like this was Skunk's first pass over the changes- there are some boners in there for sure. The overall feel is almost like a show tune, but as always the lyrics are pure Dan.

It is now 2014- why are people still doing this to themselves? We all know it's tantamount to suicide, and yet in a fractured economy people are paying money for poison. God help us.
Smoking can kill you. We've known that for at least 50 years and yet millions of us are still lighting up. Why?

Stop the killing!
"In a world with boundless opportunities for amusement, it's detestable that anyone would choose to get thrills from killing others who ask for nothing from life but the chance to remain alive."

The great Randy Meisner, up where only dogs can hear him. Unbelievable vocals, all around.

It is my belief that we all are called to be stewards of this planet, and to protect the life (animals, plants and people) that God has made. When individuals or groups deny that responsibility by killing or harming Earth's lifeforms, it is our duty to stop them.
At current poaching rates, elephants, rhinos and other African wildlife may be gone within our lifetime. Don't let Africa's majestic wildlife become history. Learn more about the poaching crisis from African Wildlife Foundation's new infographic.

My fellow Americans, the state of the (wardrobe) union is embarrassing. I, too, see this every day; even when I shopped second hand, I still looked presentable. Where, oh where have our standards gone?

I've stayed here on three separate occasions, and each time the service and the accommodations have been outstanding. The Custom Lounge is a great place to get a drink and watch a game, and world class shopping is just a few blocks away.

I'm hesitant to endorse the Double wide lounge too highly as it's still kind of a secret, even after all these years. But it really is a great little (and I mean little) place for a drink. Just a terrific dive bar with a lot of local flavor.

I always enjoy my stay here. I particularly like Sal's Pub, where the staff is great (shout out to my man Arturo) and the game is always on. As a man once said: "I'll be back."

The Pied Piper (inside the Palace) is one of the best bars in San Francisco. But it's a shame they removed the televisions! It was a great spot to have a drink and watch the Giants.

As I'm a loyal Rewards member, this is where I stay when I come to San Francisco. The staff knows me and they treat me very well; I know what to expect, where to go, and how to get there. I also like Pescatore, especially in the evening for wine, etc. So this will continue to be my hotel of choice in the Bay area.
