I've been here a couple of times. Both times were equally good. There is a Spanish/English language barrier with all of the staff I encountered during both visits, with the exception of the hostess. Food is reasonably priced for the area. The restaurant looks small but looks are deceiving. A small hallway to the right reveals a very deep restaurant and another much larger dining area. The chicken florentine was good. Delicious wine sauce but the chicken was almost crunchy on top. The chicken parmigiana id very good when you ask for their meat sauce or they will even do their tummy Alfredo upon request. Pizza and canzone are both good with their hand tossed crust. I like to ask for some meat sauce and some Alfredo sauce to dip their bread in when they bring it out. Gluttony but delicious.

Eeeks. Me thinks not. I've eaten here twice and both times were a strikeout. Food quality was like from a can and service was mediocre. If you're on foot in the Castro you're okay, but don't waste 50 minutes searching for parking to eat at this place. If I'm not mistaken, I wasn't impressed with the cleanliness either. Too many good Italian places in SF to go here.

I am giving this place 5 stars based solely on the Tony's Special pizza. It was delicious!! The sausage, the onions, even the cheese was exceptionally good! People who order for delivery FYI: Delivery was horrible! I would definitely go to this place again but who the hell doesn't have a GPS today? I ordered online and the driver called to tell me that my address didn't exist. You can't put my address in to your phone, gps, or just looking on google maps first to find out where I live? 1 1/2 hours for delivery up the hill from where they are is just absurd!

I love the name of this place, right in the heart of the Castro! Great pizza....loaded with toppings. And tastes great. A bit thicker than real NY style.... but a great pizza nonetheless.... Seriously... the name... it's awesome.

The Sausage Factory has been very impolite and does not wait on me. I brought somebody in and they assumed he was a nut and denied me entrance. Their service was not the best. The food tasted good, but again, after the first time, they never served me again.
