Very good food and service. Especially love the burger for lunch. The reviewer Nicoka complained about how well done, but blame your politicians for that. A law was passed several years ago outlawing rare or medium rare burgers. This is a very friendly, comfortable place to dine. Love the Sunday brunch and the outside dining area. Very eclectic seasonal menu.

By far... this is one of the best places in Winston Salem, if NOT the Triad region... They change their menu frequently so their frequent guest have something new to look forward to. Brunch is divine with a unique selection not offered at any other Restaurant. Always Fresh. Prices are more than reasonable for the quality of food, service & staff. The empolyees are exceptional! Check it out... you will become a regular... promise! Cheers!

I should have left when the waitress said the “kobe” beef burger only comes medium well, but I really had my heart set on this being a great burger. Great it was not. Well done Kobe, let alone almost any beef, is a crime in the food world. I only ate it because I was hungry and felt too much shame for the waitress to send something back. I felt duped and let down, sent home full yet immensely unsatisfied. My wife’s dish admittedly was tasty, although not what one would anticipate as it was described on the menu: gnocchi with arugula and roasted grapes. Sounds great, and very well would have been if the arugula was not roasted beyond recognition. The arugula on the plate could have been compacted into a mere tablespoon and surely was not the vegetable we expected with the meal. Other menu items may be more impressive; however we will not waste the money, time, and calories to find out. Note to New Town: grind your own beef and ditch the frozen “kobe.”
