Project 52/10 (only 1 week behind): Thanks to the long weekend I got to enjoy a freshly brewed coffee in a nice cup and relative peace and quiet ... as compared to the coffee from the thermos cup on the way to work battling traffic.

This weeks Project 52 features another dish by Jamie Oliver. The sticky chicken was just jummy and it worked well with the watermelon salad. Only slight disappointment was that we didn't end up with crunchy noodles - was still great though!

Last weekend we've tried another +Jamie Oliver meal from his 15 Minute Meals cookbook. The only problem with taking photos of the finished dish is that the kids usually complain because it takes too long before they can dig in!  #jamieoliver

I love pizza and so do the boys. So last weekend I worked up an appetite by making pizza from scratch. I even tried stuffing the crust with cheese, but must remember to use more cheese next time. The boys were getting annoyed with me for slowing things down to take photos, so I had to let them get stuck into the end product before taking some more photos. As it turns out I think the half eaten pizza actually looks better than the whole things.

This is just totally wicked ... what an enormous amount of work to go through to create an image. WOW!

This is a must see story, this guy is very very talented.

Last night we had a great Lightning storm here in Adelaide. I've always wanted to photograph lightning, but the low-lying northern suburbs don't provide the best views - just houses and roof-tops. So I headed up Grand Junction Road, found a spot to park and the hiked a few hundred meters to a spot with a reasonable view. At times I was worried about being at the receiving end of a lightning strike. After all, you don't want to be near a tree, but you don't just want to sit out in the open either, especially with a metal tripod! Luckily I didn't get hit, nor did I get wet.

Just uploaded my latest Project 52 photo. I've always to shot fruit being dropped into water, so on the weekend I filled up the aquarium and started to experiment. Not easy when all you've got is a single speedlight and a reflector. With more kit lights I could have blown out the background more, but I'm still quite happy with this shot.

Project 52 is lagging behind a bit ... not with taking photos, but putting them on Flickr. Finally got week 4 up. I'm getting hungry just thinking about these lovely tomatoes!
