Twins Are By Product Of Mismanagement, Nothing Else
With a very much needed, but not incredibly well deserved off day, the Minnesota Twins are guaranteed not to sink further into the loss column today. Fresh off another series loss, this one ending with a 16-4 drubbing by the Houston Astros, things have comp...

Is Molitor The Man For Twins?
Today, my plan was to write about Eddie Rosario and why it's incredibly odd how the Twins continue to use him. I decided to scrap that piece as thinking about Paul Molitor ended up tying in with it anyways. The Twins manager had one of the best seasons in r...

New Country, Same Old Tricks For Park
Welcome to May, the second month of the Major League Baseball season. The Minnesota Twins have started out in just about the least desirable way possible, but there's been a few bright spots. Joe Mauer has looked other-worldly at the plate, and the youth ha...

Kevin Jepsen Off The Rails
The Twins bullpen has been a problem area in the early going this season, and despite being left largely unaddressed this offseason, I expected the minor moves to make some difference. In short, some aspects have played out as expected. Fernando Abad has be...

Terry's Time Looming For Twins
Recently I wrote that the Twins have an absolute slew of problems . They are doing quite a few things poorly, and everything is going negatively all at just about the same time. If we're going to try and attribute things to one place, we're probably running...

Options Emerging For Twins
Going into the 2016 Major League Baseball season, the Minnesota Twins seemingly had one lone spot open in their starting rotation. Tommy Milone was out of options, and was seemingly guaranteed to be included. That left Ricky Nolasco as the veteran fighting ...

Twins Making A Habit Of Bad Roster Moves
Following his first and only start in a Major League Baseball uniform, the Twins couldn't even wait through the night to option prospect Alex Meyer back to Triple-A Rochester. Getting a chance with Ervin Santana and Kyle Gibson on the shelf, the Twins had d...

Numbers Say Don't Panic On Dozier
After the first month or so of the 2016 Major League Baseball season, one of the most disappointing Minnesota Twins has been starting second basemen Brian Dozier. He was a 2014 Home Run Derby participant, and was a 2015 All Star. In both seasons, he faded h...

When It All Comes Together

The (Un)expected Twins Asset
Just a handful of games into the season long journey, the Minnesota twins no doubt got off to a rocky start. Losing their first nine games, and being swept in three consecutive series, the hometown nine had very little to hang their hats on early. What's wo...

Our experience with S W Wold has been somewhere in the middle. We have now lived in our home for a few months, and while I love the way things turned out, it is the communication and finer points that have been somewhat disappointing. S W Wold completed our house quickly because of our desire for a quicker closing date. While it was very appreciated that this would be accommodated, it was unfortunate to find out after the fact that sacrifices would be coming. Upon moving into our house after closing, it seemed that any tasks meant to be completed on the last day went unattended. The "cleaning" from the construction phase to us living in the home was horrible. Visible dust was really the only thing cleaned on the final day, and it was done in less than an hour. We will need to pay for a window cleaning service to come and clean both the inside and outsides of all windows at some point, as they were untouched after being installed. While not the end of the world, moving into what appeared a dirty home, was only the start of how post closing interactions have gone. Since closing, we have completed our 8 week walkthrough, and had limited interactions with S W Wold. However, our point of contact Barry, has been extremely unresponsive. Despite giving his contact information and claiming to be the go-to during the final walkthrough, he fails to return emails, phone calls, or any communication. When you do finally hear back from him, it is generally short and pointed. Getting the minor fixes done has turned into a hassle, and has displayed a very disappointing lack of customer service and standing behind the product. At the end of the day, it's a beautiful home built to our desires. However, the way in which S W Wold conducts business in the post purchase phase has been less than desirable and would have me pointing that out to any potential buyer prior to referring the builder.

ABC Seamless did a great job on our gutters. Their presentation initially was extremely impressive, and the quality of product followed suit. For all of my future gutter needs, there's nowhere else I'd go.
