What If Abad Is All Good?
This offseason, the Minnesota Twins had a serious need when it came to relief pitching. While left-handed arms were in short supply, the relief corps as a whole needed a jolt. Instead of forking over big money on the ever-inflating relief market, Terry Ryan...

The Emergence Of Eddie
A year ago, the Minnesota Twins had a glaring hole in the middle of their infield. While their were some concerns as to what might happen behind the plate with Kurt Suzuki being a regression candidate, it was a shortstop that bigger answers were needed. Dan...

How Good Is Trevor Plouffe?
The shortest answer to the proposed question possible; better than you think. Really though, Plouffe entered the offseason as an arbitration eligible player for the Twins, and secured a nice raise to the tune of a one-year $7.25 million deal. With another s...

The Final Untouchable Number
42. Baseball and non-baseball fans alike know that the number was that of the late, great Jackie Robinson. The man that broke the color barrier in our nation's pastime made it famous. It's worn by no one, but in April each year, is worn by everyone. It's sy...

Who Carries The 2016 Twins?
It's just February, but making predictions far after things play out isn't much of a leap. With Twins Fest now in the books, and the next big event for the club being Spring Training, it's time to take a look at what lies ahead. The Diamond Awards recently ...

Dangers In Depth For Twins?
Looking at the state of the Minnesota Twins heading into the 2016 Major League Baseball season, the word depth has come up often. Whether it be the surplus of young talent rising to the top of the system, the pitching staff and multiple arms competing to co...

Is Santana The Ace Minnesota Needs?
Let's rewind back to March 2015. It was a simpler time for the Twins. Spring Training was well underway, and they were just on the brink of seeing their latest free agent acquisition pitching meaningful games at Target Field. Then a failed drug test happene...

The Twins Crossroads At Second

What's Left For Ricky Nolasco?
In part, the question has a very simple answer. What's left for Ricky Nolasco is two years and $24 million (with at least a $1 million buyout in year three), at least on a contractual level. The question really is, what's left for Nolasco when it comes to p...

The Extended Phil Hughes
For the Minnesota Twins, pitching was absolutely an area of contention in recent years. As the team skidded towards 90 loss seasons for four years in a row, finding quality arms to fill out the starting rotation was a must, and a struggle. After emerging ba...

Our experience with S W Wold has been somewhere in the middle. We have now lived in our home for a few months, and while I love the way things turned out, it is the communication and finer points that have been somewhat disappointing. S W Wold completed our house quickly because of our desire for a quicker closing date. While it was very appreciated that this would be accommodated, it was unfortunate to find out after the fact that sacrifices would be coming. Upon moving into our house after closing, it seemed that any tasks meant to be completed on the last day went unattended. The "cleaning" from the construction phase to us living in the home was horrible. Visible dust was really the only thing cleaned on the final day, and it was done in less than an hour. We will need to pay for a window cleaning service to come and clean both the inside and outsides of all windows at some point, as they were untouched after being installed. While not the end of the world, moving into what appeared a dirty home, was only the start of how post closing interactions have gone. Since closing, we have completed our 8 week walkthrough, and had limited interactions with S W Wold. However, our point of contact Barry, has been extremely unresponsive. Despite giving his contact information and claiming to be the go-to during the final walkthrough, he fails to return emails, phone calls, or any communication. When you do finally hear back from him, it is generally short and pointed. Getting the minor fixes done has turned into a hassle, and has displayed a very disappointing lack of customer service and standing behind the product. At the end of the day, it's a beautiful home built to our desires. However, the way in which S W Wold conducts business in the post purchase phase has been less than desirable and would have me pointing that out to any potential buyer prior to referring the builder.

ABC Seamless did a great job on our gutters. Their presentation initially was extremely impressive, and the quality of product followed suit. For all of my future gutter needs, there's nowhere else I'd go.
