Introduction
I love to write and just had my first-ever novel published as a Kindle book. I also like movies, music, and reading. I have a blog to which I post sporadically, and I am very active on Twitter and Facebook.

I'm currently working on my second novel.

I can't believe I've survived until the year 2012.

I love Microsoft Flight Simulator. I flew a Boeing 737-700 from Indy to LA, then an Airbus A320-200 from LA to Seattle. Managed to land both times without killing anyone. That's a good day in my book, since by definition any landing you can walk away from is a good landing. And that's with real, live weather, too.

As for my novel, it's going like gangbusters. Kristen (my main character) is gritty, foul-mouthed at times, realistic, sexually indeterminate, very young, and a serious hard-ass all at once. She's inherited (thanks to her father, King Arthur), a position of authority that goes back at least tens of thousands of years.

She can decide to destroy our reality completely, which would be the easiest move for her. The only alternative decision would amount to a a quid pro quo from her, in support of which she can lead her forces (and herself) into battle.

Had a good day playing Microsoft Flight Simulator. Flew a Boeing 737-400 (United Airlines) from Portland Int'l Airport to San Francisco Int'l Airport. I always fly using real weather, downloaded from the 'Net, and the winds aloft were ferocious out there with 60+ mph gusts. Then flew a Boeing 757-200 (United Airlines) from San Francisco Int'l to John F. Kennedy Int'l, New York. Took a break for dinner (the last of my Domino's sandwiches) and flew another Boeing 757-200 (American Airlines) from JFK Int'l, New York, to Los Angeles Int'l. Looks like L.A. had nice weather this evening. Finished off flying an Airbus A319 (Air Canada) from LAX to Vancouver Int'l and ran into those damned ferocious wind gusts aloft again, but managed to land the plane without killing myself (or my passengers).

Watched football all the while, of course, and for me, these days, that's about as good as it gets.

I've been doing a bunch more writing, and this novel's going to seriously kick ASS. I've fallen in love with the main character, a twenty-three-year-old woman who looks (and sounds) a lot like contemporary actress Kristen Stewart, who suddenly finds out that she's one of the immortal Greek gods (or a descendant of theirs)--or something even older. Yet, she's still whom she is, potty mouth, Midwestern hangups, personal idiosyncracies and all. She's King Arthur's daughter too, and if that sounds strange, all I can say is READ THE BOOK. She's caught up into an eons-lasting war between the forces of order and chaos in contemporary times, she's in charge, she's the one who has to make all the decisions, and whether billions live or die will depend on what she decides.

Kristen's been raised (since the death of her father King Arthur) in Indianapolis, Indiana, as ordained by Merlin the Wizard. The father she's always known is a successful lawyer. She's attended I.U, graduating with an M.B.A., and she's also picked up a boyfriend, and several girlfriends.

This book has some of Roger Zelazny's "Chronicles of Amber" books in it, as well as much, much more. The "gods" turn out to be very much like, and to have similar motivations to ordinary humans, which can be a good or bad thing, depending on your point of view.

I'm having more fun with this book than anything I've ever written in my life, but it'll be long. The "book" itself will comprise at least three, and possibly four different books, one following another, although at least insofar as the Amazon Kindle (the software for which is downloadable to the PC and the MAC free of charge) is concerned, will all be published as one book.

In case anyone's wondering, I don't use G+ much. In fact, this is my first-ever post here. I just don't have the time, but if (when) I decide to pull the plug on Facebook I may become more active here.
