Like all years, this one had its ups and downs. +Lynn La and I reminisce about the best and worst moments for phones in 2014. Do you agree? #CNET
CNET goes over the hits and misses that helped define our year in smartphones.

I love, love, love making photo books as a gift. Here are the four services I've used to make books in the past couple of years, complete with pros and cons! #CNET
When giving the gift of pictures, the photo service you choose could make or break your calendar or book.

Here's my full rated review of the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge and its curvy display. The video really shows it off. #SamsungGalaxyNoteEdge
Samsung's swooshing Galaxy Note Edge is a triumph of novel design, but its high price tag and minimal extra usability make for a niche appeal.

I'd want to carry this phone around with me allll the time if I'd had the chance.  It's #1 on my "What-I-Want for Christmas" gift list.

Even though they're not for me, I love hearing about Android flip phones like the LG Wine Smart. They pair basic calling needs with practical smartphone functionality, like really great navigation and photo-sharing. I finally got to go hands-on with this one here. #LGWineSmart

If you love Game of Thrones, Netflix is betting you'll love Marco Polo. Sex, violence, and epic medieval battles abound. #CNET #marcopolo #gamesofthrones
The streaming-video service delivers medieval sex and violence to rival the best of Westeros in its latest original show, as it vies to rule premium online video on the global stage.

This is awesome. NFL tablets on the sidelines that hold up under heat and rain conditions. +Scott Stein takes a fascinating tour (conveniently at a game with his favorite team.) #CNET
A night of rain, and a demonstration of what today's tablet technology ends up feeling like on the sidelines of America's most high-tech sport.

Speaking with Samsung's designers about how the Note Edge got its edge was really cool. Plus, concept sketches! #samsunggalaxynoteedge
What inspired the Galaxy Edge's swooshing shape and second screen? CNET sat down with the phone's designers for a US exclusive look at what makes them tick, and where they're going next.

Hey +Jessica Dolcourt Looking at the Note 5, on sprint or preferably the Duos (dual sim - for what reason idk), ne reason Samsung didn't add that awesome side menu to the Note 5? Do u think Note 5 is a good heavy techie phone? Would be thrilled to hear an article about international phones and pros and cons of importing or buying while abroad for us use. +1 as always keep up the good phone phreak'N . - BEST

I'm incredibly excited to announce CNET Magazine. It's a quarterly print mag with all-original content (yes, I'm in there, too.) My colleagues and I have spent months putting together the inaugural issue, and I couldn't be prouder to be a part of it. I've already read it cover-to-cover, and am blown away by the quality of stories in there.

You can find it in places like Target, Walmart, and Costco, for $6. Next issue is in March, and yep, I'm already working on that one, too :)

Go get one!
CNET, which is part of CBS, is a trusted source for online tech reviews and insights. The publication is now annoucing its new venture into a quarterly product. CNET reviews editor-in-chief Lindsey Turrentine and CNET news editor-in-chief Connie Guglielmo join "CBS This Morning" to talk about the new venture.

Here's what I've been working on all week, CNET's review of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, complete with tons of video! +CNET #SamsungGalaxyNote4
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will thrill anyone who loves a fast phone with a large screen, but it's best for compulsive scribblers willing to pay a lot for its winning stylus.
