Is the dress white & gold or blue & black? There's only one color we see and that is WHITE. Snow in the forecast this weekend and already coming down! #dressgate

love this place due to there steep challenging terrain. Wish it still snowed there. Management has there head up there asses. They dream about being a destination resort but do not have the intermediate terrain that the general public desires. Nore do they groom well.Local resort northstar dose this well. They cannot keep lifts running. The management continues to not plan for any problems and they have lots. I have traveled around a lot and every resort I go is run far better. Also the snow pack changes due to the warmth but it is rarely Colorado cold here

The terrain is awesome. Lots of high speed lifts. Workers are much nicer since KSL took over.

Either pay $100 or so there or $97 for 12:30 time in. I highly suggest to buy it online for a slight bit more discount so your time would be more worth it. Taking the gondolas up you will be able to start your adventures. There were tons of different lifts going to different part of the mountains. Sadly though there were some very FLAT areas which is very difficult for boarders so gotta learn to shimmy your body or if your new, just take off them bindings! Lift tickets may cost over an arm and leg but the runs are quite long, but watch out for your last run around 4pm ...There is tons and tons of moguls so watch out for them and skiers!

I've seen a lot of complaints about the instructors and man oh man, do I agree. I wasn't someone that paid for the lessons, but I was another person on the mountain. I almost collided with someone that was being instructed and it was a complete accident. This person was going straight across in front of me. I saw him and was moving out of his way as far as possible to the left. He kept going to the left and although I thought I had enough room to move around him, he continued to move straight across in front of me. By the time I was closer to him, it was too late to slow down enough to avoid him. So I started to shout to make sure he saw me, narrowly missed him and our boards touched just a smidge. I looked behind me to make sure he was okay and that he hadn't fallen. He hadn't. However, he was with an instructor that actually was telling this guy to cross like that! The instructor started yelling at me down the mountain, cursing at me! It was a clear mishap, but the instructor was not having any of it. The instructor bombed down the hill and caught up with me when I was taking a rest on the mountain when I found my friends and husband. I was ready to apologize and tell him that there was no harm meant, but he was extremely condescending, talking to me as if I was some reckless teenager. "YOU - take your earphones off. Make sure you can hear me. That was completely your fault." At that point, I was angry, "no... I tried to stop and because I couldn't predict where he was going, I was having trouble. It was an accident." "No" he says, "that was your fault. You were not paying attention." "Yes I was. I couldn't avoid him, even though I tried." The person that was being instructed was sheepishly looking on, as if he wanted no part of this. The instructor clearly wanted me to apologize, but because of the way he approached me and his unwillingness to understand that accidents can happen regardless of how careful one is, I was NOT going to. I told him I was going to report him. He said, "go ahead! Here's my card, I hope you do report me!" This guy completely ruined my time at Squaw and I'm not willing to go back...especially with so little snow and the ticket prices increasing. There are far more mountains to choose from than have to deal with this crap. He's supposed to set a good example on the mountain rather than continue a culture of anger and yelling. Awesome job guy. I hope you were a seasonal employee.

I've both skied at Squaw and attended Wanderlust in the summer. It's stunning at both times of year. The skiing is really good and I enjoyed the vastness of the park. In the summer, I enjoyed the hiking and the high camp pool area. The gondola to high camp is fast and large.

Bring Tour Buses to Squaw all the time with Bay Area Ski Bus, 1 bus had an issue today and I called the staff and they provided a helping hand when it was needed the most. Thank you Squaw Staff for answering phone and shop staff for providing an assist on a small tour bus problem. Now 50 people can go home.

i was excited and thought about buying a season pass, BUT this park as great as it is, has the worst directions ever! you have no clue what trail you're on, you have no clue what trails are splitting. if i brought friends and told them to stay on so and so trail, they'll never find that trail, the maps they hand out aren't even that helpful because you have to guess where you are and what trail is what! so i think the fact that they have no clearly marked trails is a kill, i recommend northstar or any park that actually marks their trails so you wont have to be guessing. another thing is their lifts dont tell you what difficulty the runs are, they just say "expects only" which can mean a lot of things, are the runs diamond only? the employees don't know, and get irritated and say "why don't you just go up and find out!" not cool, sorry, as much as i love the mountain, the whole experience was a pain, and there are no village maps... i think they expect you to know your way around just because they are the almighty squaw and you are customer.
