Hello!

I would very much like to watch my Google Play Movies and TV shows in Google Cardboard.  Does anyone know how this would be possible?

Unfortunately, third party apps cannot access Google Play videos, even when stored locally.

These videos are available on YouTube as 'Purchases', so I had hoped to be able to do this via the YouTube app - but 'Purchases' don't seem to have the option to view the video this way.

Thanks.

I've been having an ongoing problem with my Nexus 9. There's an intermittent 'click' or 'pop' whenever any media is playing from any source. This includes all music, games, videos, etc.

It happens in safe mode, and in every version of Android so far. It survived several factory resets, both from within the OS and also from Recovery Mode. This happens during output from wired headphones and the internal speakers, but not when playing via Bluetooth.

I recently received a replacement (refurbished) device from HTC - and it does the exact same thing.

Here's a few videos demonstrating the issue. Has anyone else run into this?

Anyone ever find that they have battery drain related to their SIM card?

My Nexus 5 was getting ~8 hours a day, and only ~1 hour of screen time.  Even after a factory reset.  But I pulled out the sim card and let it run for a day, and my standby time quadrupled.  After a full day of this I put the card back in, and it's still holding steady.

The photo shows the white line where I turned off the phone, and then the 'no signal' afterwards is where I had the SIM card out.  Now I'm getting 30+ hours standby from a full charge.

Does anyone have experience using high-powered LEDs?  I have only ever done the lower intensity ones, with voltage drops of ~3.6 V. I'm looking at an array on a board with ~8.5 V @ 350 mA, but hoping to power via a 9V battery.  I already realize that the battery will last 1-2 hours, tops. Also, these are flowed in serial - is that common for LED? I was taught to always go parallel.
