On 16 May 2012, the sound-video installation 'The Cloud of Unknowing' by Ho Tzu Nyen will be on view during the Asian Contemporary Art Week in San Francisco (12 - 19 May 2012).
The installation is about experiencing the world and the limits of the rational mind. The 'story' is visualized by actors who lived hermetically in their homes "...until a magical and mysterious cloud appears to connect their seemingly disjointed lives." is the work by Ho Tzu Nyen explained on asiancontemporarysf.org/acaw/.
The video below shows scenes from the installation at the 54th Biennale di Venezia (2011) at the Singapore Pavilion/Museo Diocesano di Venezia.
