I recently had a 70th birthday party for my mother, it was short notice after the other plans fell through, Shane was so nice and we were able to arrange a beautiful party for my mother on 3 weeks notice, the food was excellent, (lots of compliments from the guests) the waitstaff was amazing, they were on top of things from the start, I would highly recommend Caffe Il Cipresso to everyone, whether it is for dinner or a party.....

Highly recommended Italian Restaurant. Great flavor, excellent attention to detail. Homemade pasta!! Friendly wait staff. Reasonable prices. Very happy I found out about this local gem. Skip the national chains and go here!

We stopped here randomly for lunch because I've driven by a million times and have never eaten there. Great service - our waitress was wonderful!!!!!! But, I went there for the food. It didn't taste like anything. We got 'garlic bread' to start but it didn't taste like anything and was burnt. It was free so I shouldn't really complain, but I was all set after one bite. Thanks for removing me from the "If it's free, it's me" category I suppose. I got a chicken parm sandwich. It tasted like nothing. At this point, I'm wondering how they do that. How does a place make garlic bread that tastes like nothing, then chicken parm that tastes like nothing? My wife got the raviolis, she said they were 'meh'. She also got a salad with it and got the ends of the lettuce. The bad, hard, white ends. I didn't know you could screw up a salad. Best part of the entire meal was the french fries. I just now looked at other reviews and they are quite the opposite of my experience. We DID go at an off time - around 3:00, so I wouldn't rule it out if you're looking for a new place to take the fam, but next time we're driving by, we'll keep driving.

This place is in the middle of nowhere, but it's has great food and service. For an appetizer I tried the fried calamari and a side of meatballs. The calamari was ok...the breading was too thick, but the homemade meatballs was really good. I got the shrimp and scallop pasta dish and it was fantastic. You can definitely tell that the pasta is fresh.

Many years ago, I was fortunate to take my two children to Italy. We spent two glorious weeks there, eating at small local places along the way. We were amazed at just how good the food tasted, and how we couldn't get that kind of food at home. When we got back, a friend mentioned the Caffe, which is just a couple of miles up the road, so we went. It was like we were eating back in Italy again. It's been a special place to go over the years. We were back again tonight, and, once again, the food was fabulous. We don't get there often enough, but we've always had a wonderful meal there, starting with the hot garlic bread, through many different main courses, and usually ending with the tiramisu.
