Thought this was a good place to share!.........I mentioned that I'd started a Low Carb High Fat diet to try and reign in my out of control sugar addiction, I've been on it a month, the first 2 weeks was an absolute killer, can't lie! I almost gave up, then, I started to feel good, I could stay awake all day without naps, my temper/anger tamped down and the bain of my life my bad skin, cleared! I'd put on some weight after I stopped Zumba, this fell off in the first 2 weeks, since then I think I've levelled off, I'm not really overweight ( just a bit soft!) but this diet really helps you drop the pounds, and you won't be hungry, it's actually hard work at first to eat the amount of fat you're supposed to! I started with LCHF for beginners, below, I really did cut out ALL food sugars, though I'm a big tea drinker so at first I was still drinking a lot of milk, now less but still love a latte and a drop of milk in coffee even though you can have as much cream as you want!
The main point is to get your body burning fat rather than carbs, this is called being in ketosis, there are a lot of different diets that take advantage of the positive effects of being in ketosis, some v interesting articles on how every cell in the body can utilise ketones, especially the brain (I've noticed a small but definite improvement in my ability to process and retain daily info) the only cells that are unable to metabolise ketones are cancer cells, lots of articles and testing going on with this presently....

Interesting, We see things as we see them, because we are who we are (Human).
WHEN EINSTEIN MET TAGORE: An attempt to explain Truth and Beauty at the intersection of Science and Spirituality. It was July 14, 1930 when Einstein met Rabindranath Tagore- poet, polymath and first non-European to win the Nobel for Literature (for Gitanjali).

Regardless of your philosophy, religion or lack thereof, the following conversation will blow your mind. Excerpt:

EINSTEIN: Truth, then, or Beauty is not independent of Man?
TAGORE: No.
EINSTEIN: If there would be no human beings any more, the Apollo of Belvedere would no longer be beautiful.
TAGORE: No.
EINSTEIN: I agree with regard to this conception of Beauty, but not with regard to Truth.
TAGORE: Why not? Truth is realized through man.

The conversation goes from the tangibility of a table to Pythagorean geometry, concluding with:

EINSTEIN: Then I am more religious than you are!
TAGORE: My religion is in the reconciliation of the Super-personal Man, the universal human spirit, in my own individual being.

How old does this girl look to you??
I found this image for sale on a well known online market place. I flagged the image with an explanation, and well it's still there. Your thoughts please.
