So excited!
In some ways, it feels like it was only yesterday. Be was a seed in my heart* and then a flower that burst through the hard, cold soil of 2014. It was remarkable. One of my most successful projects to date, in terms of money and people and metrics. But also in terms of passion.

This is where you need someone like me. If you want to do your taxes, or show up to work on time, I’m not your girl. But if you need permission to break the rules, I am so there for you.
The photo credit probably goes to my dad. He was the designated photographer for most of my childhood. --- That's me on the right, at four years old. I'm fairly certain I was doing close to ...

The story of my #adoption. Because last week I celebrated the 32nd anniversary of my #adoptionnight#adoptee

I believe that we all have profoundly exquisite reasons for the evil we do. Every one of us. I believe this lifetime is a gift in which we have the opportunity to work out, with fear and trembling, why we do the things we do and how we might come to authentic, loving change. And I am anticipating with great joy the day we get to come together—united—for the grand do-over, when each of us falls into that Who which we truly are. That is what I call the restoration of shalom.
Chapter One :: What is “The True Self”. Whew. What a doozy. Crazy to come back to this after my break. And I know we're just getting started. (Premature P.S. You can check out my posts on the Invitation and the Preface of Immortal Diamond if you're new to this series and you'd like to follow ...

I could talk chakras all day long. But I know a lot of my Christian friends are wary. If you're intrigued but have been hesitant to check them out, I hope this is helpful. And if you're a chakra expert, I'd love to know what you think about what I've done here (and if I'm on track with all the descriptions). :)
[Photo Credit—Claire L. Evans]   I have a weird mouth thing. I first noticed it the fall semester of my sophomore year of college. I took a required science class and we had to spit into a pet...

But, something has shifted inside of me. Birth, even the creative, non-baby variety, changes you. You can’t help it.

So deeply entrenched, we teach our children in history classes that we’re The Ones Who Got It Right™, unlike those poor Communist kids. But then our children grow up and go to college, or read books. And alas, our whole charade is laid bare. And it’s not our most flattering side.
I've lied. I've cheated. I've slept around. Believe me, I've inhaled. I've overslept because I didn't care enough to make it to work. I've hurt a lot of people. Like, a lot a lot. As you can...
