In my last post, I called Platograph a new toy.  The more I work with this product, the more I see its potential.  Again, it is still very new, however, I am starting learn how it works.  For something like this image, it is not that difficult.  It took…

I have always been drawn to the still image with some movement in it.  Flixel was cool, but, you needed to shoot video and then mask what you wanted still.  Plotatraph does its magic from a still image.  Much easier!  This is gonna be FUN!   They are…

I just finished co-leading a workshop with Rad Drew in The Great Smoky Mountains.  When Rad and I met last weekend, the trees were predominantly green with little if any color to be found.  Suffice it to say, we were a bit anxious about the potential for…

When we arrived at Coast Guard Beach on the last day of our workshop, the winds were howling!  The hurricane had gone out to sea, but, we could feel it’s 35mph winds and 45mph gusts. We sat bundled up in our cars, looking at the dark brooding sky, hoping…

A good learning session from my buddy Rad Drew!

I've used SnapSeed as initial step in processing my images since the app was first introduced. It's matured to be one of the best apps for processing mobile images on the market today. Take a look at how I use it to process my images!

On Sunday, I was leading a workshop at Fonthill Castle in Doylestown PA.  One of the participants beckoned me to come see a shot she was excited about. I had to get my camera and make an image of my own!  Thank you Lois. I’ve been in a B&W frame of mind…

Having a central air conditioner fail when you need it most and to have it happen unexpectedly is never fun. That said, the great team at Clyde S. Walton, Inc. made the experience comfortable and easy. From the service technician who diagnosed the issue to the sales contact who never pressured us but rather coached us, to the installation team. All were tremendous. Was it the lowest price? No, and I'm okay with that because I believe you get what you pay for. I now have confidence that the Walton team will always take good care of me, be in business for a long time (making a profit) and assure my comfort at a fair price. Thank you!
