Perform pulling exercises long enough and there is a chance you can develop "Golfer's Elbow". Ignore the pain long enough and it will become chronic. Keep your joints healthy so you can keep training!

Marine Corps Female Pull-Up Requirement Scrapped
Currently, the Marines Corps' physical fitness program requires all marines pass a three-part fitness exam twice a year. The test includes abdominal crunches, a three-mile run, and dead-hang pull-ups for male marines or a "flexed-arm hang" for females. But in June of last year, the Marine Corps ...

Usually it is a political move to get the numbers they need... it is kinda like crime in a way... instead of lowering the crime in an area of town they just have the cops be a bit more lenient and ask them to try to settle the situation instead of write up paperwork on it so that the numbers show less crime... in this case they cut out the activity that most women fail to pass in tests.... it's just my guess

We always knew it - Fat people drink diet soda

MYTH #4: Diet soda is harmless:

The obesity-research community is becoming increasingly aware that the artificial sweeteners used in diet soda—aspartame and sucralose, for instance—lead to hard-to-control food urges later in the day. One Purdue study discovered that rats took in more calories if they'd been fed artificial sweeteners prior to mealtime, and a University of Texas study found that people who consume just three diet sodas per week were more than 40 percent more likely to be obese. Try weaning yourself off by switching to carbonated water and flavoring with lemon, cucumber, and fresh herbs.

It is, and so true. Those simple exercises -squats, deadlifts, presses and pull-ups are real #functional #fitness, not the silly stability ball so many people push. That plus those exercises make you strong, fit and flexible (if you use full motion)

It is the time of year where people make New Year’s resolutions and then promptly set about not achieving them. Corporations and organizations do not simply have hopeful meetings where they state they want to do “X,Y and Z” and leave it at that. In fact nobody successfully makes any change by simply stating a nebulous objective. Real change requires many things – specifically a set of goals (long-term, short-term and evolving), an honest assessment of resources, time required, limitations and obstacles, a system to ensure the process moves forward and perhaps most importantly a vision.
