If you want amazing French food without all the pretentiousness, go to PORTAGE! The staff and chef were amazing and the service was second to none. I will definitely be heading back soon! Cheers!

The food here is EXCELLENT. I've never had anything I didn't love. The service is great too. It's pricey, but nice.

Best french restaurant in Seattle. The service was fantastic, the wine and drink selection was perfectly paired with the food available and the food was amazing. 100% recommend!

An intimate French restaurant at the top of Queen Anne Hill. This expensive restaurant is an excellent spot for a date. The food was spectacular and the staff superb - as many guests had just been seated prior to us, they gave us a salad on the house to apologize for the wait even though we had not said a thing.

Perfect fit for Queen Anne: beautiful and inviting space--love how the front tables look out onto the streetfront, unpretentious but still classy, delicious food, stellar service. A great restaurant for a romantic dinner or as a place to impress out-of-town guests. So much better than "How to Cook a Wolf" which is across the street!

Despite the reviews you read online, they do not have a Vietnamese influence, nor do they claim to. It was really good french food though.
