Being a woman in STEM for.. (20 years? What counts?) N years anyway... has gradually completely wrecked my natural introverted sense of self consciousness as anyone riding the T with me last Saturday can attest (the only woman in the room? the only Jedi in the train car? PERFECTLY NORMAL no reason to feel more than baseline-strange about it, move along. Hopefully this gives you a good handle on "baseline.")

Super cute baby Tasmanian Devils. This breeding program is interesting because in the wild, the Tasmanian Devil population is being wiped out by a cancer that causes tumours in the face, and is transmitted by touch.
