Just watched The Amazing Spiderman 2. It was brilliant & emotionally hefty. And he uses +Google as search engine & not Bing. I won't spoil you with details. I'm off to watch Transcendence.

Project Tango Prepping for Launch Into Space

Since the summer of 2013, the Project Tango team has been working closely with a team at the NASA Ames Research Center.  The goal: to integrate a Project Tango prototype onto a robotic platform, called SPHERES, that flies inside the International Space Station. The SPHERES program aims to develop zero-gravity autonomous platforms that could act as robotic assistants for astronauts or perform maintenance activities independently on station.  The 3D-tracking and mapping capabilities of Project Tango would allow SPHERES to reconstruct a 3D-map of the space station and, for the first time in history, enable autonomous navigation of a floating robotic platform 230 miles above the surface of the earth.

Project Tango and SPHERES are scheduled to be launched into orbit this summer. The future is awesome.

Tas (Lon Bridge) is a must-visit. The menu is broad and the food is beyond excellent = esp. the red tea and Turkish cakes always make excellent desserts. You'll always receive a warm welcome on entry. The service is always good and the waiters time table visits very well. The decor is lovely and you'll get hooked on the Turkish food aroma. Give it a try. There are Tas restaurants located at Farringdon, Bloomsbury, and other places. I am a fan of the Lon Bridge one.

If you happen to be in Hammersmith (near Stamford Brook tube station), check out Azou - it's a cosy and welcoming Moroccan restaurant. There are rugs and lanterns that decorate the place. The food is excellent esp. the tanjine chicken & fish, and couscous. The only thing missing is a belly dancer. Add Azou to your must-visit list of restaurants.

3 words - spectacular, sophistication, excellence - define Oxo Tower restaurant. The view of the river is fantastic and unique. The atmosphere puts you in a relaxed mood. Having drinks and food from the balcony enhances the social dining experience. The service is excellent. You would not want to leave. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Wasabi is the one-stop place for sushi esp. at lunch time. Ditch the sushi packs and treat yourself with very good sushi from Wasabi. Aside from sushi, they serve hot food (curry, noodles, etc). It's the lunch place you have to go at least once a week. It's always packed and there are queues but the tasty food is worth the short wait.

If you are into milkshakes and burgers (like Sam Carter in Stargate), Tinseltown is a place to visit. They serve the best milkshakes, and the food is fantastic esp. because the servings are sized a l'americaine. The staff are very friendly too. The place is clean. Tinseltown (Portland St) is conviently located too. If you want tasty food and an American diner experience, Tinseltown is the place to go.
