I am an Arizona native and survived growing up in the desert, actually in the middle of an orange grove...probably because I had a horse. I played violin and still do to this day..(although I have transitioned from classical to fiddling). I also play recorder and am learning classical guitar and hammered dulcimer. Daughter Jessica and I go to Rocky Mtn Fiddle Cam nearly every year. (when not at Alasdair Fraser's) I love Scottie dogs and Morgan horses, gardening and making levi quilts. My greatest passion is photography, tho only an amateur at this point. I am a member of Toastmasters, currently working on my 4th speech. In the past, while living in Oregon, I raised milk goats and wove on a 48" Macomber loom. In Nutrioso (white mtns of Arizona), had an Angora goat, a mini-driving horse along with my Morgan, and did a lot of machine quilting. In Scottsdale, gardening, bike riding, escaping for a hike up Seven Springs, making levi quilts for my 2 grandsons, and photography occupy my time.
